NFL Picks

Here a few quick NFL picks for the week. I didn't include my record in the college picks below, so my updated record is 25-13. I was 10-6 last week--7-2 in college picks but 3-4 in NFL picks.

1:00
Denver at Tennessee
Both of these teams have had their good moments and their bad moments. Tennessee is 2-1 while Denver is 1-2, but the Titans' wins came over Oakland and the Giants. I like for Denver to have a good week this time around and win, 27-23.

Seattle at St. Louis
Can the Rams make it two in a row after winning three games total the last two seasons? I think the Rams could win consecutive games sometime this season, but it won't happen now. Seattle wins 31-21.

Baltimore at Pittsburgh
The Steelers offense got going last week, which is bad news for the NFL. They were 2-0 with barely any offense and then last week, with a little offense, crushed Tampa Bay. Big Ben comes back next week, so that's more bad news for the rest of the league. This week though, without Big Ben, the Steelers would maybe lose at Baltimore but the home crowd will carry them to victory in an, of course, hard-hitting affair. 16-13.

4:15
Washington at Philadelphia
Donovan Bowl. While everyone's waiting to see how the Philly crowd reacts to seeing Donovan in burgundy and gold, the Redskins need to figure out some things, and quick. Their defense is the worst in the NFL in terms of giving up yardage. Not good considering the Eagles offense has gotten going with Michael Vick under center the last two weeks averaging 31.5 points per game. I like Philly 31-17.

8:20
Chicago at N.Y. Giants
Like Washington, New York to needs to figure out what's wrong and get it fixed. The Redskins face a daunting task in beating the Eagles, and so do the Giants in defeating the Bears. The Bears are the surprise of the NFC and its only undefeated team. I like for their winning ways to continue, 27-17.

Monday night
New England at Miami
The Dolphins get their second-straight division rival at home in primetime. Last week, the Jets defeated the Dolphins, but this week I think Miami will rebound and beat the Patriots in a tight one, 28-27.
