Quick-hitting NFL predictions

1:00
Vikings at Bears
At home, I might give this to the Vikes. But they are at Soldier Field, and haven't beaten a team with a winning record all year. Bears slip by 21-20.

Jets at Browns
The Browns are coming on strong, having gone 2-1 over their last three games with Colt McCoy at QB. It won't quite be enough though, and Rex Ryan beats his twin brother, Browns DC Rob, to win a week of comical family feuding. 24-21.

Titans at Dolphins
I think I like what Randy Moss does for the Titans offense. I think. We'll see but I like Tennessee 27-20.

4:15
Cowboys at Giants
Jason Garrett makes the Cowboys respectable in his first game as head coach but they'll still get beaten badly. 35-17

8:20
Patriots at Steelers
Close game, tough pick. I like the Steelers to take it at home in a close, hard-hitting contest 24-23. Flip the score if the game were in Foxborough.

Monday night
Eagles at Redskins
A couple weeks ago, I would've like the Skins maybe, or at least make it real close, even with Mike Vick at QB for the Eagles. We just don't know what to expect from the Skins though right now, who are coming off a two-week media frenzy of questions about Donovan McNabb's competence at quarterback. Vick has won every game he has started and finished. Last time he played Washington, he started but was knocked out. He stays in the whole game and Philly takes it, 27-14.
