Maryland vs. East Carolina
In a game where Maryland wouldn't normally have any motivation to play, the Terps actually will be motivated to win one last game for outgoing coach Ralph Friedgen. The Terps were slighted by being in this bowl because they had the third-best record in the ACC (tied with N.C. State, but they beat the Wolfpack). So, usually I'd say ECU would win based on motivation, but I like Maryland in this one. And ECU has the last ranked defense in all of FBS. Terps 42-30
Texas Bowl-6:00
Illinois vs. Baylor
Baylor lost three games in a row to end its regular season, Illinois three of four. Baylor's losses were against OU, Ok St., and Texas Tech, while the Illini's were against Minnesota, Fresno State, and Michigan (the 67-65 OT game). Tough call, but I'll take Robert Griffin and the Bears offense to pull one out over Illinois. Baylor 27-24
Alamo Bowl-9:15
No. 14 Oklahoma State vs. Arizona
After racing out to a 7-1 record, the Wildcats dropped their final four games. Ok. St. had a chance to get to the Big 12 title game but lost to Oklahoma in a high-scoring affair. With both teams coming off disappointments, I like the Cowboys to bounce back and get the win 41-35.
