Braves at Nationals, 7:05 p.m. tonight

I told my dad I wanted to take him to a Nationals game this summer for Father's Day and we just had time find the right time. So tonight, we are headed to Nationals Park to watch our favorite team, the Braves, take on a division rival. One of the league's best pitchers this year, Jair Jurrjens (12-3, 2.38 ERA) starts for the Braves. The Nationals are sending Livan Hernandez (5-10, 4.19 ERA) to the mound.
The Braves, at 63-46, are currently six games back of the Phillies in the division. Philly added outfielder Hunter Pence, who is hitting well above .300, to an already stacked offensive lineup. I doubt the Braves can catch the Phils in the division. Atlanta is, however, winning the wild card race and has been for awhile, sitting 3.5 games up on the Diamondbacks. Atlanta made a trade for center fielder Michael Bourn right before the trade deadline, adding a good hitter and the best base stealer in the majors this year. Analysts are predicting for the the Braves to be quite dangerous once they healthier (Chipper Jones, Brian McCann -- a great power hitter) are on the DL.
I'll write a little something about the game later tonight once we get back or tomorrow.
