NFL picks

Wow, ugly day for UVa and an ugly day for my college picks at just 4-5. Here's hoping I do better with my NFL picks.

Buccaneers at Giants, 1 p.m. FOX
Tampa Bay was impressive in beating Carolina in Week 1 but I think the Giants will bounce back from their home loss to the Cowboys.
Giants 20, Buccaneers 17

Ravens at Eagles, 1 p.m. FOX
If the Eagles play like they did against the Browns, the Ravens will crush them. Michael Vick threw four interceptions against Cleveland last week. Meanwhile, Baltimore clobbered Cincinnati.
Ravens 23, Eagles 17

Saints at Panthers, 1 p.m. FOX
Interesting game, given how the Panthers struggled last week and we still don't really know what to expect from New Orleans this year. Could be a high-scoring game.
Saints 31, Panthers 28

Redskins at Rams, 4:05 p.m. FOX
The Rams already looked improved in their first year under Jeff Fisher last week against the Lions, but the Redskins looked great, on offense at least, with RGIII under center last week at the Saints. Griffin gets to run around on turf again in St. Louis and that should help him put up big numbers again.
Redskins 38, Rams 28

Cowboys at Seahawks, 4:05 p.m. FOX
Hopefully Dallas can back up its huge opening win over the Giants a week and a half ago with another road win in Seattle, one of the hardest places to play in the league. Rookie Russell Wilson struggled in his first start at quarterback for the Seahawks last week. The Cowboys' defense should be able to cause some problems for him.
Cowboys 24, Seahawks 20

Jets at Steelers, 4:25 p.m. CBS
The Jets were one of the big surprises last week, exploding for 48 points against the Bills after barely scoring any touchdowns in the preseason. The Steelers got to see firsthand that Peyton Manning was still himself after a year off Monday night in Denver. Can't see Pittsburgh going 0-2 at home.
Steelers 24, Jets 23

Lions at 49ers, 8:20 p.m. NBC
The Lions overcame sloppy play last week to beat the Rams. Quarterback Matt Stafford threw three interceptions. San Fran was very impressive in a road win at Green Bay.
49ers 28, Lions 17

Broncos at Falcons, Monday 8:30 p.m. ESPN
Should be a fun, high-scoring affair in Atlanta. The Falcons are usually always good on offense at home and Manning has put a spark in the Broncos offense and their defense was already pretty good.
Falcons 31, Broncos 27
