I'm 34-18 and didn't make picks last week. Two weeks ago, I went 3-2.
Browns at Cowboys, 1 p.m. CBS
Dallas has a real shot to get some momentum going. Its first-half schedule was one of the hardest in the NFL and its second-half schedule is one of the easiest. The Cowboys aren't out of the playoff hunt yet, but they can't afford to lose to a sub-par yet improving Browns team that is 2-7.
Cowboys 20, Browns 14
Eagles at Redskins 1 p.m. FOX
Nick Foles was impressive and also unimpressive when he was thrown into action last week against the Cowboys. Now the rookie will start with Michael Vick out. He should be able to move the ball on the Washington defense. Will the Redskins turn around their season after a solid start? They have lost three in a row after starting the season 3-3. The Eagles are 3-6 as well, so the loser's season is essentially over, barring a spectacular finish down the stretch.
Redskins 27, Eagles 24
Colts at Patriots
The Colts are probably the biggest good surprise this season so far in the NFL at 6-3. Not only is Andrew Luck living up to his No. 1 draft pick billing, but the Colts are looking good overall, perhaps inspired by their coach, Chuck Pagano, who is battling leukemia. They are just 2-2 on the road, however, with the wins coming over Tennessee and Jacksonville two of the last three weeks. Luck has thrown a pair of touchdowns and seven interceptions in the four road games. I like the Colts to keep it close, but Tom Brady and the Patriots are really getting their offense moving.
Patriots 30, Colts 21
Ravens at Steelers, 8:20 p.m. NBC
Pittsburgh could be without Ben Roethlisberger and Baltimore is coming off a game in which it scored over 50 points against Oakland. The Steelers struggled to beat the Chiefs last week in overtime. The Ravens should win, but the games between these two rivals are always intense and usually come down to the wire.
Ravens 24, Steelers 21
Bears at 49ers, 8:30 p.m. Monday night
This one could be ugly as both teams might be without their starting quarterbacks. It could end up being Jason Campbell (Bears) vs. Colin Kaepernick (49ers). I can't see this one getting out of the teens.
49ers 13, Bears 10
