Today, Quin Blanding, the No. 1-rated safety and No. 4 overall prospect in the 2014 class according to Rivals.com, verbally committed to the Cavaliers.
Blanding is a 6-foot-2, 215-pound free safety. Bayside alums currently on the 'Hoos are rising junior cornerback Demetrious Nicholson and running back Taquan Mizzell, who will begin his career as a Cavalier in the fall.
Blanding could have a change of heart but he seems like a solid UVa commit. He can sign his letter of intent next February.
EDIT: Blanding's finalists in his recruitment in addition to Virginia were Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, N.C. State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and West Virginia.
