Jaguars (0-1) at Redskins (0-1), 1 p.m. CBS
Jacksonville looked good -- for a half -- last week at Philadelphia before bowing out 34-17. Washington could not get any offense going vs. Houston in a 17-6 loss. Jacksonville has an underrated defense. If the Redskins win, it will be a close game and I think we are looking at a close game either way.

Patriots (0-1) at Vikings (1-0), 1 p.n. CBS
The last time New England started 0-2 was 2001 when Tom Brady ended up up replacing an injured Drew Bledsoe and the Patriots took off to a Super Bowl win. The Pats have rarely lost back-to-back games under Bill Belichick. The Vikings looked great last week on the road in St. Louis but the Rams were an underwhelming opponent. The Vikings will be without Adrian Peterson who was deactivated after being charged with beating a child. The Vikings back RBs are Matt Asiata, Jerick McKinnon, and Joe Banyard. Who? We might know by the end of the game. Keep your eye on this one, but I like the Patriots.

Falcons (1-0) at Bengals (1-0), 1 p.m. CBS
Both teams looked pretty good last week. Atlanta downed New Orleans at home, 37-34, in OT in one of Week 1's best games. Cincinnati was up early 15-0 on Baltimore before almost blowing it but a late A.J. Green bobbling catch sealed a 23-16 win. Expect a really close game between good teams in Cincy.

Lions (1-0) at Panthers (1-0), 1 p.m. FOX
The Panthers, minus an injured Cam Newton, eked past the Bucs last week, 20-14. Detroit looked great vs. the Giants, blowing them out 35-14 on MNF. I really like the Lions new OC, Joe Lombardi, the Saints QBs coach from 2009-13 and the grandson of one Vince Lombardi. The Panthers defense will prove to be a tougher test but I still like the Lions.

Seahawks (1-0) at Chargers (0-1), 4:05 p.m. FOX
The defending champs looked the part last week in picking apart the Packers. A road game is always a different beast, but Chargers QB Philip Rivers takes too many chances for San Diego to come away with its first win of the season after narrowly losing, 18-17, last week at the Cardinals on Monday night. Seattle is well-rested, having played last Thursday night.
Seahawks 27, Chargers 17
Chiefs (0-1) at Broncos (1-0), 4:25 p.m. CBS
The Chiefs looked bad last week in a 26-10 loss to the Titans. Denver took a 24-0 lead on the Colts before holding on, 31-24. Kansas City won some close games on an easy schedule last year and didn't play the Broncos till later in the year. Denver's offense will be too much.
Broncos 35, Chiefs 21
Bears (0-1) at 49ers (1-0), 8:30 p.m. NBC
Chicago lost last week to the Bills at home and had trouble with the Bills defense and the Bills offense found success on the ground against Chicago, which is looking to improve its defense this year. Not a good sign going into a tough San Francisco team's opening night at its new stadium.
49ers 27, Bears 17
Eagles (1-0) at Colts (0-1), 8:30 p.m. Monday night ESPN
Excellent matchup. Both teams ended Week 1 on a high note as the Eagles scored 34 straight points to beat Jacksonville and the Colts came back to nearly topple the Broncos in Denver. It is hard to see a sound Colts team going 0-2, but I think Philly will do just enough to do just that.
Eagles 27, Colts 26
Cowboys (0-1) at Titans (1-0), 1 p.m. Sunday FOX
When the schedule came out, I figured this would be a nice bounceback game for Dallas, figuring it would lose to San Francisco in Week 1, which it did. But now I'm not sure. The Titans looked good in their first game under coach Ken Whisenhunt, coasting past the Chiefs in Kansas City, 26-10. I am worried about the Dallas defense containing dual-threat Titans QB Jake Locker. It did pretty well last week, giving up 21 offensive points to the 49ers and one TD came from inside the Dallas 5 when Tony Romo threw an INT. Speaking of that offense -- which looked ragged last week but came back to make the 49ers game respectable -- I think it will look better in this one but I think it will just keep the game closer. I still like the Titans.
Titans 27, Cowboys 24
