Virginia set for orange and blue battle after besting Arkansas

Virginia vs. Florida in Omaha, Neb., 8 p.m. today ESPN

The Cavaliers came up with the clutch hits again Saturday to top Arkansas in the first game of the College World Series, 5-3. Kenny Towns hit an RBI double in the eighth inning to break a 3-3 tie and Ernie Clement got a trickling hit through the infield in the ninth for an insurance run. Connor Jones went six innings on the mound and Josh Sborz was terrific in relief.

Now, the 'Hoos take on quite possibly the hottest team in the CWS, Florida. The Gators are scoring an incredible 11.3 runs per game in the NCAA tournament. Now for more on the Gators:
